The school prefects are chosen by the teaching staff. This is done during a staff meeting where the different names are proposed. After scrutinizing each floated prefect candidate one is chosen as a prefect. Their role is to assist the teachers in the smooth learning of the school. They also act as a bridge between the student and administration. The prefect structure of the school is:

§ Headgirl
§ D/H Prefect
§ Games Prefect
§ Compound prefect
§ Laboratory prefect
§ Class prefects

 

NB They are proposals to allow students to choose prefer prefects. The students will propose but teachers will vet them. The system will be experimented in the course of the pear as the 2010 prefects are retired.
